Unexpected touches from God can really lift our spirits!  That's exactly what happened to me this past week.  I was dropping off a load of coffee from Central American Missions ( we are going to sell the bags at a Bazaar in order to raise support for summer missions)...I had planned to run in and run out when I was invited to have lunch.

Acts and Facts of Paul Poem

We've finished our lessons and what a great year it was studying the love letters of the Apostle Paul.  We laughed together, we cried some, we shared our lives with one another in our groups.  But, most importantly, God spoke to our hearts and we are changed by the grace of God.  LaWanda from Plano has blessed us with another poem that says it all..."THIS GOD HE (SAUL) HATED SOUGHT HIM OUT" and that same God is still seeking...has He found you?

Welcome

Bible Discussion Groups is a non-denominational, non-profit Para-Church organization. Its home base is in Dallas, TX. Five sister studies meet in the area, and they are geared toward women. Eighty groups (church and home classes) across the United States purchase and use the studies according to their various needs. Our studies are expository in nature and they are geared for small group discussion with an optional wrap-up lecture.

Wow!  Who knew that we had that much stuff in our closets?  Because our five classes are spread out across the metroplex, once a year BDG gets together to serve our community.  This year 250 women, or so, from our sister classes opened their closets and their hearts because it is not enough just to study the word of God and do nothing with it... Love Letters to the Church

First century churches needed: to hear from God; power of the Holy Spirit; and directions in order to fulfill their purpose.  Does the church today need to hear from God?  Do they need a fresh empowerment of His Spirit?  Do they need direction?  Yes!  Yes!  And, Yes!  Come join us this semester as we study the Apostle Paul’s Love Letters to the Church in Galatians, Ephesians, and Philemon).
